I’m excited to announce a series of OpenGL ES iPhone tutorials. The goal is to walk you through setting up and creating a FPS style 3D game. Tutorials will cover OpenGL set up, efficiently drawing geometry to your screen using VBOs, controls (looking/moving in 3D space), and collision detection. I’ve learned a few tricks while creating my own Voxel engine and game engine for my upcoming iPhone games, I’d love to share some of my techniques.
I am delaying the tutorial until Xcode 5 is released. No need for another outdated tutorial.
